How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world. -- Anne Frank
The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank would like to thank the many volunteers who served our organization throughout the year in 2010. Because of your tireless efforts assisting us with daily operations at our facility and special events, we have reached much farther and higher than we could have on our own. Our volunteers have donated their time doing all manner of things, from chopping vegetables for our weekday lunch, to stocking our shelves with produce and food items from the truck, to folding, stapling, and labeling our newsletter, to weeding and watering our garden. We appreciate your continuing partnership in helping our neighbors in need of food as well as encouragement in the midst of difficult circumstances. You are making our community stronger with each person assisted and with each person inspired to follow your good example. Thank you so much.
As National Volunteer Week 2011 is being observed April 10-16 we write to say we love our volunteers and we are grateful for each one of you.
For those who are interested but not already involved in serving alongside us, please feel free to contact me by phone at 262-3111 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
