The first volleyball practice in preparation for the BEMA Student Convention will be held Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. Students must be 13 or older to play.
There will be an honor roll trip to the Diamond Center Mall in Anchorage Friday. The students will leave in the bus at 8 a.m. and return around 7 p.m.
Mr. Thompson will again come to teach the Upper Learning Center students how to read topographical maps Monday. They will need this skill May 13 in the second annual Refuge Clue Search.
There will be a fundraising lasagna dinner and musical April 29. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children age 4 to 11. The dinner begins at 6 p.m., and the musical begins at 7 p.m. There will be dessert, pie auction and door prizes at 8 p.m. You must be present to win a door prize. Proceeds will go toward purchasing a new dishwasher for the kitchen. The musical is titled, "The Tale of Three Trees."

Naomi Pettey and Kassidy Foust were chosen for the Office of the Week Award.
