Strong earthquake near Adak

PALMER(AP) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 was felt strongly in Adak Thursday evening, according to the Alaska Tsunami Warning Center. No injuries or damages were reported on the island

The quake occurred at 8:35 p.m. It was centered 65 miles southwest of Adak.
