PALMER (AP) -- A man accused of killing a Palmer-area woman early this month while burglarizing her home was indicted Thursday on murder, burglary and theft charges.
William T. Horsey III, 52, is accused of killing Jane Sasseen, 65, on April 2 at her home just north of Palmer. Horsey is accused of shooting Sasseen three times after going to her home planning to burglarize it.
He is also charged with using Sasseen's ATM card to withdraw money from her account after her death.
Horsey is being held at Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility on $500,000 bail. His next court hearing is Monday.
