BLAINE, Wash. (AP) U.S. border officials seized nearly 800 pounds of marijuana in two separate incidents last week at the Blaine commercial truck crossing.

On Wednesday, an X-ray machine revealed 400 pounds of marijuana in a hidden compartment under a truckload of logs, the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection said.

On Thursday, X-rays revealed 378 pounds in the front cargo area of a truck transporting salmon.

Authorities estimated the total value of the seizures at $3.9 million.

Three Canadian citizens were taken into custody in the incidents.
