The Cardiac Patient Support Group will meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. the first Monday of each month in the Redoubt Room, located in the lower level at Central Peninsula Hospital. The La Leche League of Soldotna and Kenai will meet from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of the month at the Frontier Community Services Playroom in the Red Diamond Center on Kalifornsky Beach Road. The league is a breastfeeding resource group that offers free monthly meetings, mother-to-mother breastfeeding support, telephone assistance and a lending library. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers are invited to attend. Babies are welcome.

The 2010 Kenai Rotary Soap Box derby speeds its way to Kenai on May 22.
