Contractor wins national award

Lochinvar Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency water heaters and boilers, announced that Nathan White of White's Plumbing & Heating in Kenai was selected as the latest monthly winner of its annual VIP Installation Showcase, a contest that honors industry professionals for outstanding installations of Lochinvar boilers. Lochinvar, which is based in Lebanon, TN, invites approved contractors across the country to submit a description of a recent project for consideration by a panel of judges, and then selects the most impressive entry each month.

Among the March entries was a submission from White, which outlined a job he recently completed at an area home. The residence originally didn't have central heat, and the owners were interested in upgrading. To efficiently and effectively meet their needs, White and his team installed a new radiant heating system, which features a wall-mount KNIGHT Heating Boiler and a Squire Indirect Water Heater.

This is White's third award in Lochinvar's VIP Installation Showcase, with previous wins in December 2008 and November 2009. Founded in 1977, White Plumbing & Heating specializes in residential and light commercial plumbing and heating.
