After reading the very good editorial from the Homer News (A breath of fresh air in Homer) in the April 18 edition of the Clarion, I then read the Letters regarding off-road riders and watching the roads for moose. I think the editorial has it right. More signs will not help, but public education does. Where is the independent pride, common courtesy and good every-day sense that Alaskans used to be known for? Are we now too diluted with new people and internet input?
