PALMER (AP) -- The Bush administration has named three state committee members to the U.S. Agriculture Department's Farm Service Agency in Alaska.
William Dix Ward, a farmer and rancher from Delta Junction, has been named chairman of the committee.
Julia Kate Kratzer of Nenana also was appointed to the committee. Kratzer raises reindeer and nursery trees on her family farm operation.
F. Bruce Willard, who operates a beef cattle ranch and slaughter house in Homer, was the third committee member named.
The committee keeps farmers informed of programs and activities within the Farm Service Administration and resolves appeals and complaints with the agency.
