Kierstin Brown and Cory Kelly of Kenai announce the birth of their daughter, Sierrah Nichole Kelly, at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna. She weighed 9 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 21 inches.

Julie Booth and Kingsley Mireku of Denver, Colo., announce the birth of their twins, daughter Madylin Aboagyewaa Mireku and son Benjamin Aboagye Mireku, on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 in Aurora, Colo.

Madylin was born at 6:18 a.m. She weighed 4 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 17.25 inches. Benjamin was born at 6:19 a.m. He weighed 3 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 16.25 inches.

The twins join brothers Aaron, 6, and David, 4. Their grandparents are Steve and Barbara Booth of Soldotna and Kwasi Gyima and Diana Seraa of Ghana in Africa.

Tonja and Clark Whitney, Jr. of Soldotna announce the birth of their daughter, Maia Cherise Whitney, at 8:21 a.m., Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Central Peninsula General Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 19 inches.

She joins siblings Kelcy and Delainie Burford and Aidan Whitney. Her grandparents are Clark and Cheryl Whitney and Bettina and Jesse Merchant, all of Soldotna, Lynn Wallis of Oregon and Lance and Pat Mahoney of California.

Willow King of Kenai and Kelly Hagelund of Nikiski announce the birth of their son, Caius Kopaea Hagelund, at 3:52 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Central Peninsula General Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 1.5 ounces and measured 19.5 inches.

His grandparents are Harry and Jamie Hagelund of Nikiski and Richard and Marcia King of Hanalei, Hawaii.
