ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A minor earthquake occurred Monday afternoon near Anchorage, according to the Alaska Earthquake Information Center.
The center said the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 3.3 and occurred at 12:53 p.m. It was centered 24 miles east of Anchorage.
The quake was felt in the city, but there were no immediate reports of damage.
