Academic recognition banquet honors students with top grades

Posted: Tuesday, April 22, 2003

On March 31, Kenai Central High School held its 11th academic awards banquet for 145 students who earned a 3.5 or above GPA during the 2002-2003 fall semester. Full-time students at KCHS are eligible for an academic letter if they have two consecutive semesters of 3.5 or above GPAs.

We would like to thank Kenai Central High School, Dave Larson, for his motivating talk.

We appreciate McDonald's of Kenai for financial support and for generously supplying coupons for each of the students.

Many people are involved in the program to make it a success. Thanks also goes to Dennis Dunn, Alan Fields, Lynn Janson, Mark Manuel, Connie Jung, Kathy Herring, Jim Davis, Tim Delaney, Susie Franklin, Rich Bartolowits, Deb Sounart, KCHS Jazz Band, National Honor Society and the technical crew at KCHS.
