The Alaska Future Problem Solving Program would like to thank the generous folks at College Heights Community Fellowship for the use of their facilities during the Alaska FPS State Bowl on April 18 and 19. Approximately 80 Future Problem Solvers, their coaches and chaperones from Cordova, Fairbanks, and the Kenai Peninsula participated.
Generous in-kind and monetary support was also provided by Aspen Hotels, Fred Meyer, Emerald Alaska, Wells Fargo Bank, the Kenai Watershed Forum, Soldotna Optometry Clinic, Soldotna Professional Pharmacy and State Farm agent Nancy Mitchell.
The students studied the topic of "water quality" for the bowl and competed in a variety of activities. Through their preparation and participation, the students are more informed and capable members of our society.
Thank you for your support of this valuable program!
