Government can't pay debt without income

When watching all the accusations directed to the government for not paying the national debt, I wonder how many of the objectors opt for every tax deduction they can find, and vote down any proposal that requires them to pay a tax? No one can pay bills without income. The federal and state governments need our tax money to pay theirs as they do not have a day job. Seems some citizens forget that.
