II am sure I began learning with all my senses at the start of my life. My family spent a lot of time with me as I grew up by talking and reading and giving me the tools to survive at learning. Knowledge to me means that I have the power to make things happen for me. Now I enjoy the challenge of new ideas and experiences with great enthusiasm.

To be literate is to know how to read and write. Without the ability to read and write I would not have a rich and rewarding life. Traveling and seeing new places, meeting people and learning about their way of life tells me a lot about them and myself. Being a literate person means freedom and understanding of everything I come in contact with. The more I read, the more I know and the more I understand.
