The kindergarten class is continuing its study of Australia. Students have learned about kangaroos and also studied the different terrain of the continent.
The butterfly pavilion is coming alive.
The first- through third-grade class is studying the solar system and enjoying writing and sharing reports with classmates. Students also continue their study of Europe with creative reports and presentations.
There will be an open house from 6 to 7:30 tonight in Soldotna Elementary School room 410. Current parents, new parents and the public are invited to attend.
Picture day will be at 1:30 p.m. April 30. Siblings also can have pictures taken around 2:30 p.m.
Information on the Alaska SeaLife Center overnight trip will be coming home this week. Contact Mrs. Dehlbom for information on chaperoning.
