Kenai Cooperative Preschool

Posted: Wednesday, April 23, 2003

The preschoolers invited their fathers to school for homemade pretzels and root beer floats. Dads helped with woodworking, power tools, hammering nails, putting nuts on bolts and sanding and painting blocks of wood.

Later in the week, the Easter Bunny left eggs for the children to find. Easter egg dying, making edible birds' nests and constructing wearable rabbit ears kept everyone hopping as well.

Applications are being accepted for fall enrollment. Preschool hours are from 9 a.m. to noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Visitors are welcome. The school also will host two summer camps: Creepy Crawly Camping Week from June 9 to 13 and The Wonderful World of Literature Week from July 7 to 11. For more information call the school at 283-3100.
