Reader gives two cents on controversial coins

The four choices for the Alaska quarter seem to portray several major controversies in our state -- endangered polar bears on melting ice, sled dogs that might be abused, McNeil River bears that some want to hunt, and a miner working in what could be the Pebble Mine. Loved them all, but why not just mint one big silver dollar featuring a bridge to nowhere?
