Youth dancers to perform

The Aurora Dancers annual dance production will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the Kenai Central High School Auditorium. The Aurora Dancers youth dance team will perform ballet, tap and jazz routines, as well as a production of "West Side Story."

There will be guest appearances by the Anchorage Classical Ballet Academy and performances by area talents. The cost is $6, and all proceeds go toward expenses for dancers to travel to New York City for a competition in July.

KPC to hold graduation ceremonies

Kenai Peninsula College will hold its 32nd annual graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. April 30 in the Kenai Central High School Auditorium. The public is welcome to attend.

Free skate day planned

A free skate day will be held at Alaska Great Skate in Soldotna May 4 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Soldotna Elks Lodge; hot dogs, drinks, games and prizes will be available.

May meeting of Safari Club canceled

The May 7 meeting of the Safari Club has been canceled. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held June 4 at 6 p.m. at Don Jose's restaurant in Soldotna. For more information, call 262-9881.

Safety Day Fair planning under way

Anyone interested in participating in the annual Safety Day Fair, to be held May 18, is asked to call Nancy Mitchell at 262-4440.

Women's group looking to volunteer

The Women's Roundtable, a group of professional businesswomen, is looking for organizations that need volunteer assistance. The group is willing to help organizations in a variety of capacities, such as newsletter writing, filing, painting, cleaning and other volunteer work.
