Flag poetry winners announced

Winners of the Ladies Auxiliary-sponsored American Flag Poetry Program include: First place: First-graders Dillon Henrie, Kayla Scroggins, Kaylee Tanner and Kara Martin; second-graders Kati Dutcher, Ashton Burdine, Carrol Larrow, Anton Krull and Kevin Stone; third-graders Hannah Morgan, Jena Poppin, Tanner Landry and Taylor Desoreaux; fourth-grader Matthew Nath; fifth-grader Julie Brown; sixth-grader Shawn Desormeaux; and eighth-graders Chris Desormeaux, Stephanie Trux and Whilney Rysdyk.

Second place: First-graders Blake Thibodeaux, Catherine House and Jacob Daniel; second-graders John Wynkoop, Brenden Couch, Joey Bishop and Jacob Hemstock; third-graders Cody Vandehey, Kaili Sholin and Kristin Taylor; fifth-grader Quintun Pribbenow; and eighth-grader Lindsay Keener.

Third place: First-graders Wade Nelson and Mitch Daugherty; second-graders Han-nah Cristiano, Lexie Kirsch, Barbara Smith and Kade Foust; third-graders Samantha Little, Alex Woltering and Lincoln Wensley; fifth-grader Breanna Little; and eighth-grader Phil Daniel.
