Knorr, Wohlers announce engagement
Elizabeth Knorr of New London, Conn., and Lt. j.g. David Wohlers of Astoria, Ore., plan to be married in August.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Cynthia and Rob-ert Knorr of Allentown, Pa. She is a senior at Connecticut College in New London, Conn.
The groom-to-be is the son of Anne and Jim Wohlers of Kenai. He is a 2003 graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He is stationed on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Steadfast in Astoria, Ore.
The couple plans to reside in Juneau after the wedding.

Melissa A. Poole and Douglas A. Reger of Soldotna will be married at 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, in an outdoor ceremony at the home of Theresa and Paul Reger of Soldotna. The Rev. Al Schadle will officiate.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Debbie Poole of Sterling and Skip Poole of Soldotna. She is a 1993 graduate of Skyview High School. Melissa is employed by Pearse Construction Inc. in Sterling.
The groom-to-be is the son of Theresa and Paul Reger of Soldotna. He is a 1994 graduate of Skyview High School. Douglas is employed by C.I.C. Inc. in Sterling.
The maid of honor during the ceremony will be Casey Poole of Soldotna. Summer Durst of Sterling, Shay Poole of Soldotna and Deejay Durst of Sterling will be the bridesmaids. The flower girl will be Paige Poole of Soldotna.
The best man during the ceremony will be Dennis Reger of Soldotna. Richard Reger and Mike Abbott, both of Soldotna and Jed Painter of Sterling will be the groomsmen. The ring bearer will be Brody Reger of Soldotna.

Jenae C. Saltzgiver and Justin L. Weisz of Kenai plan to be married Friday, July 22, 2005, at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Pam and Kelly Saltzgiver of Kenai. She is a 2003 graduate of Kenai Central High School and is employed by Central Peninsula General Hospital in Soldotna
The groom-to-be is the son of Traci and David Weisz of Kenai and Lisa and Maurice Schultz of Tok. He is a 1999 graduate of Kenai Central High School and works at Three Bears in Kenai.
