Sears store offers lower 48 prices

Buy Local Today. This simple message has been the foundation of peninsula-based businesses that are the lifeblood of our local community. Local Sears Dealer store owner, Bryan Lien, felt there were too many peninsula residents taking their business to Anchorage or points south, draining the local economic base.

Lien lobbied the national level of Sears to develop incentives that would encourage peninsula residents to support the local economy. Working with America's number one appliance, powered lawn/ garden equipment and fitness retailer in the nation, Lien garnered pricing that should make consumers think twice before driving to Anchorage for their purchases.

Kenai's Sears Dealer store now offers pricing that matches the "lower 48" Sears rates. What makes this unique, is that the pricing and ads will only be honored by the local Kenai store and not Anchorage. With all of the features of Sears intact, including delivery options and the ability to order specific merchandise, Lien and the employees at the Sears Dealer store in Kenai are enthusiastic about this opportunity now available to local residents. The Sears Dealer store has been open since June 6, 2000 and is located in the Old Carrs Mall in Kenai.
