Kenai resident Marlene Rae Schanrock died Friday, April 25, 2003, at her home. She was 65.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion George H. Plumley Memorial Post No. 20 in Kenai.
Mrs. Schanrock was born on Aug. 25, 1937, in Kirtland, Ohio. She was a graduate of West Geauga School. She moved to Alaska in August 1975, residing in Kenai. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for the family business.
Mrs. Schanrock enjoyed sewing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Schanrock of Kenai; sons, Clifford Schanrock and Thomas Schanrock Jr., both of Kenai; daughters, Robin Dunlap of Kenai, Sheryl Skjold of Garden City, Mich., Theresa Petersen of Anchorage, Cynthia Martin of Sumpter, Ore., and Candice Moore of Salem, Ore.; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; her mother; a sister; and three brothers.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
