Soldotna student to graduate from college

Russell C. Hepner of Soldotna will receive a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering next month when he graduates from the University of Idaho.

Soldotna woman to compete for Mrs. Alaska title

Lucinda Harwood Mrs. Soldotna 2003 will compete in the 2003 Mrs. Alaska International Pageant in Anchorage on May 10. Harwood said she is involved in the program because it emphasizes positive aspects of marriage and family. "In these times of pride for our country, our families have become a more important focus. Families are the building blocks of this country and women are an important part of that family unit," she wrote. "This program not only recognizes the married woman for her accomplishments in her family but also her professional and community involvement."

Soldotna man serves in Tokyo

Air Force Airman First Class Johnathon J. Dalebout has arrived for duty at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo. He is a flight service center apprentice with the Air Force. He is a 2002 graduate of Skyview High School. His father and stepmother are Joseph and Teresa Dalebout of Soldotna.
