JUNEAU (AP) -- A suspect has been arrested in a Tuesday afternoon robbery at a Juneau bank, the FBI reports.
James Louis Gregory Shales, 20, was apprehended Thursday, according to Eric Gonzalez of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Shales was arrested without incident by Juneau Police near the Federal Building, Gonzalez told KINY radio.
Shales was picked up initially on an outstanding Alaska State Trooper warrant for failing to comply with conditions of probation stemming from a forgery conviction, according Juneau police records.
He was being held at Lemon Creek Correctional Facility.
Bank officials said the man got away with only a small amount of money. The bandit told bank employees that he had a gun, but none was seen by workers there. The robbery occurred about 12:20 p.m. Tuesday.
