The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank hosted its second annual Easter Dinner for the public on April 20. Those attending were served turkey, ham, potatoes, cooked and raw vegetables, and various desserts. The dinner was free to those who attended.
The board of directors and staff wish to thank all of the volunteers that made our Easter Dinner for the public possible. Including a group of teen-agers and young children who decorated Easter eggs, there were numerous volunteers who helped prepare the dinner, serve and clean up afterward. We had singers and an Easter bunny visit. Those who donated food and Easter baskets helped to add that special touch to the day.
Your donations of time and food are priceless to us and we, on behalf of those we serve, are very thankful for your support.
