Longtime Kenai resident Tomasa Dominguez Paraguayan died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna. She was 59.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the Moose Lodge Family Center in Kenai.
Mrs. Purugganan was born July 14, 1947, in Mexicali, Mexico. She moved to Kenai in 1975. She worked as a restaurant cook for the Moose Lodge Family Center. She enjoyed sewing and Mexican cooking.
Ms. Paraguayan was preceded in death by her brother, Margarito Dominguez.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Aquio Purugganan of Kenai; sons, Rafael Purugganan of Kihei, Hawaii, Enrique and Juan-Pablo Purugganan of Kenai; daughter-in-law, Cheyenne Meyer of Kenai; numerous grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Felicitas Dominguez, Micaela Castro, Nemesio Dominguez, Hetro Dominguez, Raquel Palacios, Maria Luisa Dominguez, Hilario Dominguez, Juan Dominguez, and Dagoberto Dominguez of California.
Arrangements were made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
