ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Travelers to Interior Alaska will have even more lodging options this summer.

A 150-room, upscale hotel is scheduled to open May 14 at the entrance to Denali National Park and Preserve.

The Grande Denali Lodge also will offer six luxury cabins, a 250-seat restaurant and a theater that can accommodate 80 people. The lodge will offer views of Denali park, the Alaska Range and the Nenana River Valley.

A 97-room Aspen Hotel opened in Fairbanks in April. And 125 rooms are being added to the Fairbanks Princess Hotel.

One-hundred rooms also have been added to the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.
