Soldotna resident Bruce A. Healy died Wednesday, April 25, 2001. He was 36.
A gathering in his memory will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bridges Community Resource Center in Soldotna.
Mr. Healy was born March 20, 1965, in San Diego. He moved to Alaska in 1989.
"Bruce loved living in Alaska and being in the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, building cabins and playing cards with his friends. Bruce is remembered by family and friends as a kind, caring person who was always there to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. He loved to joke and make people laugh.
"Bruce touched the lives of many who had the privilege to know him. He will be missed by all who knew him," his family said.
He is survived by his mother, Charlotte Packard; father, Richard Healy; sisters Glenda Howe and Mechelle Anderson; brothers Richard Healy, Cole Healy, Clint Healy and Marvin Healy; sons Brian B. Healy, Travis D. Healy and Heath A. Healy; daughter, Demry N. Healy; and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
