Ceremony planned to remember cancer victims

A special ceremony to honor those who have been touched by cancer will be held at the American Cancer Society Relay for Life June 1 and 2 at Skyview High School. Candles will be lit in memory of those who have been lost to cancer or in support of those surviving, while volunteers walk or run the track, raising funds for cancer research and Kenai Peninsula patient services.

Luminaria candles can be personalized by donation to the American Cancer Society. For more information, call 262-3506.
