A day full of April

can make your heart glow.

Her sunshine has done fine

to melt down the snow.

The hay, low, in April

is snow-crumpled grass.

And litter needs a getter

to take in the trash.

No dry days for driveways

as frost turns to soup.

But mud holes with puddles

have children to boot!

April was faithful

and pleasant her stay.

Now bring more spring for

tomorrow is May!
