Landscape lecture series sure to make peninsula greener place

The Central Peninsula Master Gardeners would like to say thank you to all the folks that participated in the Winter Lecture Series.

The landscape series was fun and informative thanks to our speakers, Cheryl Wikstrom of Earthworks; Wayne Vandre, horticulturist; and RitaJo Shoulz of Fritz Creek Gardens. Their time and expertise made the winter seem less long and helped many plan for the upcoming gardening season.

We would also like to thank the many people who attended the series and all the volunteers who helped make the Winter Lecture Series possible.

Central Peninsula Master Gardeners also would like to express our gratitude to the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association for the use of its facilities.

We hope you have a great gardening season and to see you planting and weeding wherever you grow!
