JUNEAU (AP) Gov. Frank Murkowski announced two appointments Wednesday to the Board of Fisheries.
He reappointed Ed Dersham, who has been board chairman since 2001, to a third three-year term, and appointed Dr. Fred Bouse of Fairbanks to a three-year term.
Dersham owns a fishing lodge at Anchor Point and is a licensed charter boat captain. He was first appointed to the board by former Gov. Tony Knowles in 1997.
Bouse, a dentist and fishing guide, was a member of the Copper River Management Work Group for a number of years.
