Former resident earns medical degree

Former Sterling resident Lyndsey Amber Hale graduates May 28 from the University of Oklahoma. Lyndsey, a graduate of Regis University, in Denver, Colo., has earned a degree of Doctor of Medicine, as well as a degree of Master of Public Health. She plans to pursue her residency in neurology. Her mother and stepfather, LuAnn and Mark Hope, life in Parker, Colo. Father, Albin Hale, sister and brother-in-law, Kaity and Brandon Fortney, niece and nephew Mackenzie and Carson Fortney and brother Zach Hale live in the Soldotna area. Lyndsey will be joined by family and friends to celebrate her outstanding accomplishments.
