Two people were taken by ambulance to Central Peninsula General Hospital following a motorcycle-van crash in Kenai on Saturday afternoon.

At the request of the people who were injured, a condition report was not available Thursday, according to a hospital spokesperson.

William Kopecky, 50, and Jillany Kopecky, 46, both of Soldotna, were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a van driven by Chris Hensley, 20, of Seward. The van reportedly turned out in front of the motorcycle near Mile 9 of the Kenai Spur Highway.

Kenai police said charges are pending in the accident.
