In the 32nd minute, Kropf found the back of the net for a 3-0 advantage.
Only four minutes into the second half, Bornheimer struck again, this time off an assist from Kropf, and Siekaniec made it 5-0 with a tally in the 69th minute of the game.

Homer boys 4, Nikiski 2
Beto Cosio scored twice and the Mariners staved off a comeback by the Bulldogs.
Cosio opened the scoring in the fifth minute and made it 2-0 when he converted a penalty shot only six minutes later.
Nikiski’s Calvin Williams cut the deficit to 2-1 when he found the back of the net in the 30th minute, and that’s how it stayed entering the half.
But Homer came out strong in the second half.
David Buckley increased the edge to 3-1 when he netted a goal off an assist from Keith Bell in the 43rd minute and Cosio later assisted Patrick Schneider in the 61st minute for a 4-1 lead.
Williams made it 4-2 only five minutes later, but that’s as close as the Bulldogs would come.
