NEW YORK (AP) -- A New York graduation ceremony for Reform movement seminarians will also feature leaders from other branches of Judaism.

The Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion will present honorary degrees this month to Rabbi Ismar Schorsch, chancellor of the Conservative Jewish Theological Seminary, and Rabbi Emanuel Rackman, of the Orthodox Bar-Ilan University in Israel.

The three branches of Judaism often clash over issues ranging from intermarriage to conversion to whether driving is allowable on the Sabbath.

Hebrew Union will also hold graduation and ordination ceremonies at its campuses in Cincinnati and Los Angeles.
