ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Cook Inlet Region Inc. is expanding two of its hotels.
The Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge will add 100 rooms to the existing 98. The Seward Windsong lodge will add 36 rooms to its current total of 72, according to the Anchorage-based Native corporation.
''The demand for the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge in the short term has surpassed our expectations. We anticipate continued growth as more people discover the lodge setting,'' said CIRI's vice president of tourism, Dennis Brandon.
