Light earthquake hits Interior

ANCHORAGE (AP) A light earthquake struck Alaska's Interior Friday morning.

The quake occurred at 8:07 a.m. and had a preliminary magnitude of 4.0, according to the Alaska Earthquake Information Center. It was centered 39 miles northeast of Paxson.

The earthquake was felt in Paxson, but there were no reports of injury or damage.
