Congratulations to all the fifth- and sixth-grade Quest students who participated in the Future Problem Solving program this year. Several students were recognized at the Future Problem Solving state bowl competition in Soldotna April 18 and 19. Ari Bennett tied for third in futuristic story writing, and Tanner Thompson was awarded second.

Congratulations to the fifth-grade FPS team comprised of Kayleen Hansen, Christianna Garcia and Camron Lotti. These three students won two team awards, including second place junior skit competition and third place junior team competition. The team competition topic for this year's bowl was "Depletion of Ocean Species." This team's accomplishments certainly shows hard work and preparation often yield rewards.
