Sears Elementary

Sears' artist in residence program began this week. Natasha Ala-Johnson will work with students in acrylics and collages on canvas. Volunteers are needed. To volunteer, call the office at 283-4826. Students' finished artwork will be displayed in an exhibition from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 21

The spring carnival will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The kindergarten concert, "A Day on the Farm," will be at 1:45 p.m. May 13 for Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Moon's classes and at 1:45 p.m. May 14 for Mrs. Bryson and Mrs. Atkinson's classes.

The annual bike rodeo for students in first and second grades will be May 20.

An all-school picnic will be May 20. Lunch will be provided by the Moose Lodge for all students.

Parents are reminded to check with classroom teachers after May 17 for teacher requests for the 2004-05 school year.

The school still is accepting registration for prospective kindergarten students for the 2004-05 school year. Parents can stop by the school until June 4 for registration packets.
