Yearbooks were distributed last week to those families who ordered one. The initial supply was sold out, but there may be another order placed if there are enough unfilled orders on the waiting list. Contact the school if you want to be placed on the waiting list.

Congratulations to Brittany Russell for her efforts in the state spelling bee in Anchorage. She competed into round three .

There will be an opportunity to purchase school jackets for the upcoming year. Order information will be sent home Friday. The jackets will display school colors and have the school's mascot (Lynx) imprinted on the front. A deposit of $20 is required for those families who wish make this purchase.

Sixth-graders will travel to Soldotna Middle School or Ninilchik to visit Friday. Parent written permission is required prior to departure.

The PTO is sponsoring a spring poetry contest for students in grades one through six. The contest deadline is May 7. Cash prizes of $15, $10 and $5 will be awarded to the top three places in each grade level.

The annual kindergarten visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday . The visitation is open only to those children who have been preregistered prior to that date.
