With only eight days of school left, students are hard at work and have lots of last-second activities planned.
Geri Brigham's music class will perform what they have learned this semester in a recital at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The student council has planned a formal dinner for the Upper Learning Center students. The dinner will be Friday at Paradisos. After the dinner, the students will return to the school and play games until midnight.
Also Friday, Mr. Thompson will take the older students on a "compass mystery trip" to apply some of the skills they learned earlier this year.
The students going to Internationals will have car wash Saturday.
The Lower Learning Center students are studying Australia and making aboriginal bark art. They also will write a narrative story to correlate with their project.
Jesse Puletau has entered the 6,000s club, and Jaycee McGee made it to the 1,000s. As of last week, all the Lower Learning Center students have made it into a thousands clubs.
Cassie Sutton and Jared Wood were awarded for having the cleanest desks, while Amy Wood won the most interesting fact contest.
