Addictions group meets

Reformers Unanimous, a Christ-centered addictions program, meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at the Immanuel Baptist Church. For more information, call 283-9361.

Baha’i classes set

Spiritual education classes for children ages 5 to 7 are held weekly at 10 a.m. Saturdays. A course titled “Reflections on the Life of the Spirit” will be held at the same time for adults and older youth. For location or more information, call 283-6650.

Kenai Aglow meeting slated

Kenai Aglow will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at The Salvation Army Chapel, 201 N. Forest Drive in Kenai. The topic will be, “While in the process, lean on Jesus.”

Clothes available

Clothes Quarters is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. It is in the back of the parking lot of Our Lady of the Angels Church, 225 S. Spruce St. in Kenai.

Soldotna Aglow to meet

Soldotna Day Aglow meets Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at Peninsula Christian Center. It is located behind The Salvation Army. Baby-sitting is provided.

Nikiski holds Bible study

Nikiski Aglow is offering an eight-week Bible study program by Jennifer Kennedy Dean called “The Life Changing Power in the Blood of Christ” at 10 a.m. Wednesdays at the North Star Methodist Church in Nikiski. Farewell for Pastor Nichols set

The First Baptist Church of Kenai will host a farewell celebration for Pastor Nichols at 10:45 a.m. May 14 at the church. A potluck dinner will be held at noon. Evening services worship and memories will be shared. It is open to the public.

Youth evangelism camp slated

The Christian Youth in Action camp will be held May 30 through June 7 at the Solid Rock Bible Camp. The camp will teach teens how to share the gospel with children, by using The Wordless Book in conjunction with the Bible.

Vacation Bible school planned

The Sterling Baptist Church will host

vacation Bible school from 6 to 8 p.m. July 31 through Aug. 4. Registration begins at 5:54 p.m. The theme is “Set Sail, Spread the Good News.”
