Mulberry Street Trattoria executive chef/owner, Joseph Sullivan, as well as other top area chefs and family-owned businesses, participate in numerous fund-raising and community events throughout the year, among them the "Iron Chef Competition" part of the Historic Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival. Sullivan entered a mouth-watering flounder over polenta dish in 2008 (top left and right) and from last year's event (lower left and right), a delightful triggerfish salad. This year's Historic Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival is planned for October 17-25, 2010, when chefs will be challenged to create two dishes (in one hour) using two unknown ingredients in seafood and non-seafood categories.
