KCHS Pops' concert tonight

The Kenai Central High School choir will present its 32nd annual "Pops" concert at 6:30 p.m. today. The student soloists and ensembles will be backed up by a live band, including Woody McCubbins on drums, Alvin Diaz on bass, keyboardist Ole Cuaresma and Bill and Bob Mabrey on everything from keyboards and bass to sax, flute and lead guitar. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. For more information, call the school at 283-7524.

Boys and Girls Club partnership meeting

The Kenai City Council, members of the city administration, the Parks and Recreation Commission and members of the Boys and Girls Club board of directors will meet in a work session today at 7 p.m. in the Kenai City Council Chambers.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the partnering agreement between the Boys and Girls Club and the city of Kenai. The public is invited to attend.

Winnie-The-Pooh comes to Kenai

Toddler Storytime at the Kenai Community Library will feature characters and scenes from the upcoming A.A. Milnes Classic Winnie-The-Pooh Play from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Children will have a chance to talk with the characters after the scenes. For more information, call 283-4378.

Boy Scouts to host Mother's Day breakfast

Kenai Boy Scout Troop No. 357 will offer its 35th annual Mother's Day Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Kenai Elks Lodge. For more information, call troop leader Dan Castimore at 398-3609.
