Ninilchik resident Raisa Alexandria Rea died Friday, April 17, 2009, in Seattle. She was 11 months old.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 13. Her ashes will be laid to rest into her monument at the Spruce Grove Cemetery in Kasilof. A memorial potluck and gathering will immediately follow at the Clam Shell Lodge in Clam Gulch.
Raisa was born April 26, 2008, to Kristin "Kiki" Galloway and Tony Rea in Soldotna.
"Raisa was a beautiful, easy going, ray of sunshine. She truly brought joy to all of our lives. We are blessed to have had the pleasure of this little spirit. Raisa thought the sun rose and set with her sisters and they adored her just the same. She will be forever in our hearts and never far from our thoughts," her family said.
Raisa was preceded in death by her uncle, Jared Galloway.
She is survived by her parents; sisters, India and Phaedra; grandparents, Martin and Nita Galloway and Kathy Rea; uncles and aunts, Barbara and Mathew, Robert and Stacy and Lois and Tracy; and cousins, Clarissa, Tyler, Zach, Chance, Bree, Caroline, James, Tyrrell, Anthony, Luke, Hannah, Hayden and Holden.
