Oilers Corner: Oilers sign 3 more

Kellen St. Luce, Jeff Yamaguchi and John Maciel have signed with the Peninsula Oilers for the 2011 season, the club announced Tuesday.

St. Luce is a 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior at Nova Southeastern University. He transfered from Vanderbilt University and also played on the Virgin Island Future Stars squad. A native of the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Luce is studying communications and marketing.

Yamaguchi is a freshman infielder at Long Beach State University. The 6-1, 185-pounder is hitting .231 through 34 games with two doubles and a triple.

Maciel, also a freshman at LBSU, is a 6-2, 200-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a 1.88 ERA and a save in 14 innings.
