The students had a wonderful time on the field trip to Exit Glacier and the Alaska SeaLife Center on Monday. Thanks to the parents who drove, chaperoned and helped with activities.
Mrs. Larned's class is beginning studies about South America and will learn about some of the amphibians that live there. Students will compare the life cycle of the Alaska wood frog to some of the South American frogs. Wood frog eggs will be collected and kept in the classroom. Estimates will be made to see how long the eggs take to hatch.
There will be a parent meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in room 410. Elections will be held to choose new members of the Academic Parent Advisory Board. For more information, call Theresa Brown.
