The high school track team is finishing up its season with boroughs this weekend at Skyview and regionals the following weekend at Su Valley.

This past week, the third- and fourth-graders worked on their Power Point and animation projects, as well as learned about plants and practiced gardening. They also will have the opportunity to watch the release of rainbow trout into Johnson Lake this week.

The seniors returned Friday after spending three days in Anchorage on their senior trip. Activities in Anchorage included miniature golf, visiting the Anchorage Zoo and seeing the performance, "Stomp." The seniors now are preparing for graduation May 18.

Ninilchik School had the opportunity to see the Hanshew Middle School students perform last Friday. Hanshew's concert choir, orchestra and jazz band stopped at the school while on a mini-tour. The entire Ninilchik school population was able to watch the hour-long concert.
